Who we are
This site (howtohealthedition.com) is operated by The How To Co., publisher of the How To Network. References to "we," "us," or "the edition" mean The How To Co.
What we collect
Two buckets:
- Analytics. When you visit, we record standard web logs (IP address, browser, referrer, pages viewed). We use Google Analytics to understand what people read.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to The Letter, we store the email address you give us and the date you subscribed.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, or any health data. We do not sell, rent, or trade reader data.
Cookies
This site sets cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and, where embedded, for video providers. You can block these in your browser settings without breaking the site.
The Letter is delivered through standard transactional email infrastructure. Every issue has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from active sends within 24 hours; we keep a suppression record so we don't accidentally re-send to you.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you can ask us to: confirm what we hold on you, correct it, delete it, or export it. Write to [email protected] with Privacy in the subject.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Third parties
The site embeds content from a small number of third parties (fonts, analytics, video). Their privacy notices apply to anything they collect through their own embeds.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links — when you click them and buy something, the retailer may share a small commission with us. The retailer may also set its own cookies once you arrive on their site; that's governed by their privacy policy, not ours. Affiliate participation never changes our editorial recommendations.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top and post the new version here. Material changes are noted in The Letter.
